身穿红衣的我国小将冯天薇首先出战，就轻取韩国选手唐汭序，为我国赢得开门红。随后出场的李佳薇，尽管输掉了单打比赛，却和队友王越古合拍，3比0赢得双打比赛。我国女队再次取得领先。
可是老将王越古在第四场单打，再次失利。小将冯天薇临危受命，最终以3比1击败朴美英，拿下关键一分，帮助我国成功杀进决赛。

圣尼各拉女校通讯员于芳倩
5月12日发生的四川大地震，不仅震惊了全球，更激起了海外多少华人华侨的拳拳爱国之心和各国友人真诚的关切与同情。圣尼各拉女校的1800 名师生正是带着他们的爱和关怀，在5月16日一天内捐款约4600新元，作为他们第一阶段的筹款，汇往中国红十字总会，希望给灾民们以最大的帮助。
本次捐款活动是由圣尼各拉女校的中国奖学金学生们发起的。在筹款活动的前一天，我们进行筹划工作、制作捐款箱、设计宣传报、撰写演讲词，一直忙碌到深夜。
然而，筹款活动当天一早，我们却丝毫没有疲惫之感，却显得精神百倍。在晨会上，我和樊月娇同学作为代表进行双语演讲，强烈呼吁老师和同学们伸出援 助之手，为赈灾贡献出一份力量。听到一个个惊人的数字和地震中发生真实故事时，台下鸦雀无声的同学们中有不少在偷偷擦拭着眼角的泪水。
