Valentine

Not a red rose or a satin heart.

I give you an onion,
It is a moon wrapped in brown paper.
It promises light
like the careful undressing of love.

Here.
It will blind you with tears
like a lover.
It will make your reflection
a wobbling photo of grief.

I am trying to be truthful.

Not a cute card or kissogram.

I give you an onion.
Its fierce kiss will stay on your lips,
possessive and faithful
as we are,
for as long as we are.

Take it.
Its platinum loops shrink to a wedding ring,
if you like.
Lethal.
Its scent will cling to your fingers,
cling to your knife.

---MY WORDS--- THIS IS MY OPINION. lol

To me, Valentine Day is the occasion to celebrate with your friends and families. perhaps, receiving a small feroro roche(idk how2 spell) will warm one's heart. Valentine day is not necessary just for lovers. Of course, to lovers, this is their special day. BUying roses and chocolates for their girlfriends. Bringing them out to romantic candlelit dinner. Or even. getting married on this special day is meaningful to them! Or spending a night tgt and idk doing what .

Young boys spending immense amounts on valentines gift.
Well.Gifts doesnt mean anything. during Valentine day, 1 rose can cost as much to $5? idk? THis is the price in those drama shows i watched lol.

Flower shops and gift houses make millions of innocent young teenagers, acts that teenagers are too immature to be spending so much at a young age.

for my dad, He thinks that gift doesnt mean love.
So. every year. he will not buy anything for my mum during valentine day. haha. isnt tt funny.
giving a gift to someone. a necklace that worth $2999 Idk. Dont mean that I LOVE YOU A LOT A LOT. love is priceless. So actually, people, instead of buying gifts , we can make them. Like, cooking a meal for someone you love is cool.

valentine being a money making machine. Why must we let them earn those money. They raise the price during valentine day to get the chance to earn more.

So.Think about it.
